I’ve been writing since before the internet existed, so some of my favorite articles never made it online. Other publications I’ve written for aren’t around any longer, so the articles have faded into obscurity. And that’s too bad, because part of why I liked these articles in the first place, is that they introduced me to some pretty cool people.
Everybody has a story, and profiling these people and places, allowed me to glimpse a piece of those stories. Some of the articles gave me a chance to learn about things I never would have explored if it wasn’t for my freelance writing. So from my perspective, that’s a big win!

I worked full time for four years at Dunn School in Los Olivos, California, as a communications coordinator, which included writing and producing an annual magazine, the Dunn Journal. I loved interviewing students, teachers and alumni to share their stories with a wider audience. The following links are from two of my favorite issues that are still online.
