Vegan in the City: Seattle, WA
Good vegan restaurants are never hard to find in Seattle. In fact, like Portland, it’s one of those cities where the sheer number of choices can sometimes make it hard to decide where to eat. These are a few of our favorite places in the Emerald City.

Wayward Vegan Café
One of the oldest and best loved vegan restaurants in Seattle is the Wayward Café. And for good reason. This place serves up the vegan comfort food of your most wonderful dreams. Like if you took your favorite diner or your mom’s best recipes, veganized them all and offered them up in a fun, casual dining space.
The breakfast menu includes specialties like Tofuevos Rancheros and The Ex-Benedict. For lunch you can get a Pesto Chicken Sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. Their epic MacDaddy comes with two Beyond Meat patties, cheddar “teese”, housemade thousand island, diced pickles and onions and crisp iceberg lettuce. Seriously epic. Many meals can be made gluten free. And like any respectable diner, they serve breakfast all day. Even though the menu is 100 percent vegan, non-vegans will most definitely find food here to enjoy. But if you are vegan, you owe it to yourself to eat here. It’s an amazing treat!

Café Flora
This bright, beautiful café is one of our favorite places to visit. With the indoor fountain, window walls and plants from floor to ceiling, eating at Café Flora is like dining in a beautiful greenhouse. It doesn’t hurt that the vegtarian/vegan menu is delicious as well! Their weekend brunch menu includes things like Golden Milk, French Dip and a Roasted Vegetable Fritatta. The decadent cinnamon roll you see (above, right) comes with a small croc of icing so you can decide how much or how little to put on top. We’ve been eating here every time we’re in Seattle and we’ve never been disappointed.

Razzi’s Pizzeria
Imagine your family is in the mood for pizza. But one person wants every meat imaginable, one person can’t eat gluten, and another person is vegan. Razzi’s is the place for you! Offering a traditional, gluten free, vegan, and gluten free vegan menu, they literally have something for everyone. And it tastes good too! One thing you’ll notice from the picture above, the downtown location does not have step-free access. So if steps are a challenge and you want to dine in, you’ll have to visit the Greenwood location or bring a few buff friends to tackle the stairs 🙂

Pressed Juicery
Ok, so Pressed Juicery is not a strictly Seattle establishment. They have 75+ locations throughout the U.S. coastal regions. But with four stores in the Seattle/Bellevue area, they’re a great option when you’re looking for a healthy snack. In addition to freshly pressed juices and wellness shots, they also offer frozen soft serve (with toppings!) in Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla.
